Views: Culture for AI Development

He views the emergence and rapid progress of AI as a major human achievement that should be well-utilized to promote well-being for all.  While he acknowledges the risk of AI misusing, he advocates building a culture for AI development, whether led by human intelligence (HI) or by the AI itself. He proposes four pillars to support this culture. (1) Human Values: Ai must not violate human values. (2) Human Responsibility: HI and AI should work together under human oversight. (3) Awareness & Sensitivity: AI must recognize human sensitivity to certain issues and wording. (4) Neutrality & Fairness: AI must avoid bias that compromises objectivity and fairness.
